JOIN THE NCC AND ICANN IN PROMOTING UNIVERSAL ACCEPTANCE ON INAUGURAL UA DAY

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in collaboration with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), AFRALO and Green ICTi to host a free webinar on Universal Acceptance (UA). UA is a technical requirement that ensures all valid domain names and email addresses, regardless of script, language, or character length, can be equally used by all internet-enabled applications, devices, and systems.

ICANN has approved March 28, 2023, as the inaugural UA Day, with the theme: Internet4All. The day is for everyone worldwide, regardless of language or script, to learn about UA and how it can improve internet accessibility for all.
