The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive (EVC/CE) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta yesterday in Stockholm, met Mr. Dan Sjoblom, the Director-General of the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS). The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has gathered experts and industry stakeholders for an extensive brainstorming on how the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement can be leveraged to further unleash the growth potentials of the Nigerian telecoms industry.
The Commission's initiatives in this regard started yesterday (6/11/19) in Kano at a two-day industry sensitisation workshop which it organised in collaboration with the Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiation (NOTN). The event, taking place at Bristol Palace Hotel, is focused on "Improving Nigeria Telecoms Industry Competitiveness for AfCFTA".
