Certificate of Incorporation
Current Tax Clearance Certificate
Payment of non-refundable fee being 5% of Licence fee
Certified True Copy (CTC) of Articles & Memorandum of Association
Electronic copy of passport photographs of Directors/Shareholders of the company
Electronic copy of passport photographs of authorized representative
Feasibility report of proposed service
Certificate of qualified technical staff (where applicable)
Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) status report
Utility Bill reflecting the Official Address of the Company
Evidence of funding
Memorandum of Understanding (where applicable)
If the company is an existing licensee (type of license issued to the Company )
The amount budgeted for the project
Some applicants listed below henceforth must obtain a security clearance from the State Security Service (SSS) for the proposed service as a condition precedent for the grant of license by the Commission. The Personal History Statement Form (PHS) for the company and its Directors will be provided by the Commission for completion by applicants;
Unified Access Service Licence
Automated Vehicular Tracking Service
Private Network Links (regional, national & LEO)
Interconnect Exchange Services
Internet Service Provision where resource is required
International Data Access/Full Gateway
Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite (GMPCS)
Mobile Virtual Network Operator
Applications should be submitted when all the documents above have been uploaded.
On submission of the application, a non-refundable administrative charge, which is 5% of the relevant license fee would be paid via the Licensing Application Management System.
A license fee is payable on approval of the application.
“Automated Vehicle Tracking Services (AVTS), Unified Access Service License (UASL) and Mobile Virtual Network (MVNO), International Data Access (IDA), Full Gateway, Interconnect Exchange, and Private Network Links National/Regional applicants henceforth must obtain a security clearance from the State Security Service (SSS) for the proposed service, as a condition precedent for the grant of license by the Commission. The Personal History Statement Form (PHS) for the company and its Directors will be provided by the Commission for completion by applicants.
All VAS (Content Service using Short Code ) applicant (s) must present :
Evidence of an Agreement or a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) entered between the company and any of the VAS Aggregators.
Alternatively, the company should provide a copy of a license duly issued to it by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for Mobile Money Services or from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) for lottery services.
