Senator Ramoni Olalekan Mustapha, the Aare Musulumi of Ogun State, is an accomplished public administrator, legislator, and community leader from Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State with a distinguished career spanning over three decades.

His public service trajectory includes several non-elective appointments such as Chairman, Ogun State Task Force on Building Projects (1997–1999), and board memberships at NIPOST and the Nigerian Ports Authority. Senator Mustapha has held multiple elective offices: Executive Chairman of Ijebu-North Local Government; Member, Federal House of Representatives for Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside; and two-term Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District.

Within the legislature, he chaired key committees, including the House Committee on Communications and Air Force, and later, Senate Committees on Interior, Police Affairs, and States & Local Government Administration. He also served as Deputy Chairman on Senate Committees on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Electoral Matters.

In recognition of his national service, Senator Mustapha was awarded the national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) in 2023.
