Rimini Haraya Makama is the Executive Commissioner (Stakeholder Management) of the Nigerian Communications Commission. She was confirmed to her position by the Nigerian Senate on 21st May 2024 following her nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR on 23rd February 2024. A qualified legal practitioner trained in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom, Rimini Makama is an internationally experienced senior executive. Her career spans multiple sectors, including international law enforcement (INTERPOL) and technology. Prior to her appointment she served as Director, Xbox Global Expansion at Microsoft in the United States and was previously Government Affairs Director for Microsoft Middle East and Africa - Emerging Markets.
