The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), on Friday 12th July 2019, presented awards and gifts to three of its staff who scored highest in the Strategy, Policy and Process Awareness (SPPA) quiz.
According to Josephine Amuwa, the director of NCC’s Department of Corporate Planning, Strategy and Risk Management that organises SPPA quiz, the award is organised quarterly for the Commission’s staff to deepen their knowledge of the policies and processes in the various departments and to make them more efficient on the job.
“We set those questions and we mark them, and the first, second and third persons, we give awards”, she said.
The director reiterated that increased awareness and participation of staff in the quiz will improve job knowledge, deletion of non-value adding processes and improve efficiency in the Commission.
