The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has assured the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) of its continuous support and partnership, because the Chamber’s initiatives, programmes and activities are purposively targeted at enhancing Nigeria’s growth and socio-economic development.
Professor Umar Danbatta, the Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC gave the assurance recently while receiving a delegation from KADCCIMA which paid a courtesy visit to the Management of the Commission. Speaking through Adeleke Adewolu, Executive Commissioner Stakeholder Management of NCC, who received KADCCIMA delegation, Danbatta also announced that NCC will participate in the 2022 Kaduna International Trade Fair.

...As Danbatta pledges to sustain participation and support for the Conference.
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has reiterated its faith in the vision of the AfricaNEXT Conference (AfricaNXT) to “co-create a prosperous future for all Africans” through collaborations, conversations and programming that are oriented in harvesting, harnessing and leveraging innovative technologies.
“The visualisations and concrete actions of the AfricaNXT conference are in congruence with NCC’s faith in the promise of technology to galvanise Nigeria’s, nay Africa’s, development. This explains our continued support and participation at the Conference which is now in its 10th Year, and we will continue to play active roles in this event which takes place in Lagos annually”.

…As Minister, others applaud transparent auction of spectrum.
Barely a week before the deadline set by the NCC for the payment of the spectrum fees by the winners of the 3.5GHz spectrum auction, the Federal Government has officially handed over the spectrum allocation for Fifth Generation (5G) deployment in the country to the Nigerian Communications Commission.
Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, who also wears the hat of the Chairman, National Frequency Management Council (NFMC), presented the official document on the 3.5GHz spectrum allocation to the Commission at a public event which took place at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja on Thursday, February 17, 2022.

The Nigerian Communications Commission has stated that the National Emergency Number 112 which it instituted and superintends, is the most critical infrastructure necessary for the successful implementation of the National Emergency Medical Service and Ambulance Systems (NEMSAS) recently launched by the Federal Ministry of Health.
The NEMSAS is established as a programme implementation unit in the Office of the Honourable Minister of Health. The project aims to establish an Information and Communication Technology-enabled emergency medical service that is effective, efficient, timely and in partnership with the private operators in the health sector. The objective of this new project is to increase access to healthcare, and to reduce mortality and morbidity rates in order to improve health care outcomes to all Nigerians.
