The Nigeria Internet Governance Forum Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group (NIGF-MAG) is organizing the Nigeria Internet Governance Forum (NIGF) 2024 with the theme “Responsible use of the Internet: A Panacea for Sustainable Socio-Economic Development”. This year's forum will take advantage of the multi-stakeholder nature to harness and aggregate productive ideas toward facilitating a more effective approach to fostering responsible use of the internet by citizens of Nigeria.
The NIGF-MAG comprises of stakeholders from the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy (FMoCIDE), the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), National Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Nigerian Internet Registration Association (NiRA), and Internet Society Nigeria Chapter (ISOC NG), in collaboration with other stakeholders.
The forum is scheduled to take place as follows:
