In continuation of its efforts to implement Emergency Communications Centres (ECC) in all the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, a delegation of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) recently visited Oyo State Government to strengthen partnership on the successful implementation of the public safety project in the state.
The delegation led by the Commission's Head of ECC, Muhammed Ibrahim, at the instance of the Ibadan NCC Zonal Controller, Yomi Arowosafe, was received by the State Governor, Seyi Makinde, who appreciated the delegation for the courtesy visit.

…Seeks collaboration for economic growth
The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has praised the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) over its commitment to deepen digital penetration for economic growth and inclusiveness in the country.
The commendation came the way of the Commission during a courtesy visit by the new executive council of NACCIMA led by its National President, Saratu Iya-Aliu, to the NCC Headquarters in Abuja on Friday (today).

In line with its strategic collaboration and partnership drive, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) on Thursday collaborated with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to sensitise the staff of the telecoms regulatory agency on proper use of roads.
The FRSC five-man delegation was led by Adejumobi Olatunde, Unit Commander, FRSC Central Business District, Abuja, who sensitised the NCC’s staff including drivers on different areas bordering on road usage and safety.
