The Executive Management of Bharti Airtel Group, this evening, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) Head Office in Abuja. The Group's Management was led by Rughunath Mandava, CEO of Bharti Airtel Limited.
The Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta, who led the NCC management team to received the Group thanked Mandava and Bharti Airtel for making the time to visit the Commission.

The Management of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, KADCCIMA, this afternoon paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeian Communications Commission, NCC to commend the Commission for its consistency in protecting the rights of the telecom consumers, and its collaboration and partnership with the Chamber.
Dr. Muheeba Dankaka, president of the Chamber, who led the delegation to NCC was received on behalf of the Executive Vice Chairman of NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta, by Ismail Adedigba, Head, Information and Reference at NCC's Consumer Affairs Bureau (CAB).

The Executive Vice Chairman of Nigerian Communications Commission (EVC, NCC), Professor Umar Danbatta, this afternoon received a delegation of top management of the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting (NSPM) Plc that came to explore ways to revive earlier business collaboration between the two agencies.
Abbas Masanawa, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of NSPM company, who led the delegation, stated that the purpose of the visit, which is long overdue, is to commend NCC for its obvious strides in regulating the country's telecommunication sector in line with world-class standard.

The Nigerian Communications Commission, on Thursday, 7th March 2019 held a sensitization and knowledge-sharing programme on the correlation between mobile handsets that are not type-approved by the Commission for safe use and good quality of service.
Besides the negative implication on the quality of service available to the user of non-type approved and substandard handsets or other mobile devices, using uncertified sets is hazardous and poses threat to successful management of electronic wastes.
