The West Africa Telecommunications Regulators Assembly (WATRA) seeks a highly reputable firm that will provide professional external audit service for three (3) years. The selected firm will be responsible for the auditing of WATRA accounts. WATRA therefore invites all firms capable of providing this service to submit their technical and financial proposal in accordance with this Request for Proposal (RFP).

The West Africa Telecommunications Regulators Assembly (WATRA) founded in 2002 is a consultative and collaborative body of Telecommunications Regulators in the West African sub region to aid and advance development of telecommunications in the sub region and ultimately in Africa. WATRA will collaborate and cooperate with other regional and international organizations towards the attainment of its mission to ensure the rapid development of telecommunications in the sub region.

The Nigerian Communications Commissions is the Independent National Regulatory Authority for the telecommunications Industry in Nigeria. The Commission is responsible for creating an enabling environment for competition among operators in the Industry as well as ensuring the provision of qualitative and efficient telecommunications services throughout the Country.
In line with its mandate, the Commission hereby introduces Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) License that will generate employment and bridge the gap between the unserved and the Underserved in Society. It will also further engender competition and provide choices for telecommunication consumers.
