The Management of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, yesterday reiterated its determination to ensure smooth running of the telecommunications industry.
The Commission’s Executive Commissioner Stakeholder Management, Mr. Sunday Dare who represented the Executive Vice Chairman, Prof. Umar Danbatta stated this at a meeting held at the NCC Headquarters with the stakeholders in the international data access and interconnect exchange services.

The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of Nigerian Communications Commission, Prof Umar Garba Danbatta, is leading the Nigerian delegation currently in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to explore further investment opportunities to improve both the quantity and quality of connectivity to telecommunications and ICTs.

The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Otunba Olabiyi Durojaiye and Commissioner Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, yesterday paid a visit to the Lagos Zonal Office of the Commission to acquaint themselves with the operations of the Lagos outpost of the NCC.
The Commissioners listened to a presentation about all aspects of the responsibilities and activities of the Zonal Office and also inspected the new NCC Building in Lagos under construction as well as the Digital Bridge Institute, DBI, a training institution set up by the NCC in 2004 to address the skills deficit that might undermine the operations of the emergent telecommunication sector.

Very strong business organizational structure, policies and practices that facilitate effective and efficient service delivery were some of the high points, the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) considered before naming the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) tops in institutional work processes in the country.
